THE FALL GAMES

PROJECT KC'S FALL 3BY LEAGUE

OVERVIEW

DSC02243.JPG

The Fall Games is continuous 3v2's where we are training our brains to understand spatial awareness, knowing when to be a threat, when to be an outlet, and getting COUNTLESS reps in uneven situations, in a fun, competitive format.

Due to location size/capacity, each grad year gets 3 teams with team sizes from 3-5.  Numbers are capped at 15 and we will have a waiting list.  First Come, First Served.

STEP 1: TRAINING CAMP

Week 1 of The Fall Games is everyone's introduction to 3by.  Some have already played it and love it.  Others have no clue what it is.

This is where we teach the game and see everyone play in a pressure-free setting.

STEP 2: THE DRAFT & SEASON

DSC01021.JPG

Weeks 2 - 5 give us a 4-week season playing 6 games per week.  After week 1, coaches will draft their teams to ensure a leader cares, up the compete level, learn, and grow each week.  Scores will be kept, standings will be updated.

Coaches are not allowed to coach the boys on the field.  Coaches can only coach the boys off the field.  Our boys need to see the advantages and play while feeling free!

If the boys aren't getting concepts, each 10 minute break is an opportunity for drills.

STEP 3: THE FALL GAMES CHAMPIONSHIP

Week 6 is when the champions will be crowned.

Each regular season win is 3 points.  Each tie is 1 point.  Each loss is 0 points.  Each forfeit is -2 points.

At the end of the regular season, whoever is seeded 1st place gets 5 Championship Day points.  Whoever is seeded second place gets 2 Championship Day Points.  Whoever is seeded third place gets 0 Championship Day Points.

On Championship day, each team will play each other in 2-game round robin.  The scoring system will be the same as the regular season.  The teams with the 2 high scores advance to the championship.

The Championship is 7-minute games with 3 minutes in between games, played best 2 out of 3.

Who's gonna be a Fall Games winner?
